Sports Week
Waakye is extremely common and cheap in all parts of Ghana. It's mostly beans, rice, gari, noodles, stew and sometimes an egg or meat.
Akple with stew: the local dish of the Ewe. Usually made from corn flour and cassava dough. The stew can be made from okro, peanuts and/or tomatoes, but always includes lots of pepper.
These go by many names including "Tuk tuks", "Can do's" and "Kum kums". They are a new edition to Ghanaian travel and are only found in certain cities
