Cory's 27 month Peace Corps Journey in Ghana
WHO AM I
I'm a 29 year old future Peace Corps Volunteer originally from Long Island, New York. I'm a proud alumni of Elon University having graduated with a Business Administration/Enterepreneurship degree in 2009. Since graduating, I've lived in Charlotte, NC and most recently Las Vegas, NV.
In my short professional career, I've been dabbled in real estate, poker, entrepreneurship, and event technology. Basically the typical background for a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Agriculture sector.
My interests include sports, live music, fantasy baseball, politics, philosophy and ending lists too early. My friends and family would call me stubborn but loveable. I'd call them wrong but supportive. I've been fortunate enough to travel all over the world for both work and pleasure, including China, Singapore, and all over Europe, most notably a study abroad trip to London.
I'll be serving in Ghana from October, 2016 through December, 2018 as an "Agriculture Advisor - Business". This blog is my outlet to share my stories and learnings with my friends, family and fellow volunteers during my 27-month long service. I hope you enjoy it.
